Chopped vegetable salad with avocado and Parmesan and Roasted marrow bones with sweet onion broth and crusty bread and happily co-exist in the appetizer section. Pastas range from ASparagus ravioli with Parmesan broth to spaghettini with chili and sea urchin.
Braised beef cheeks with horseradish mashed potatoes is rib-sticking good, and cast-iron pan chicken with braised kale is perfect with a side of caramelized broccoli. We also have fat, prime New York strips that are particularly decadent with a side of potato puree or crispy fries.
Desserts are decidedly simple; you might enjoy a peach and blackberry buckle with house-made buttermilk ice cream or warm cinnamon doughnut holes filled with blueberry jam and served in a pool of creme angalise.
