Our kitchen is home to us; it’s the place where we work together, we create new food together, we eat together – and sometimes we even drink, celebrate and carry on together at the family table.
You can join the fun and exciting events in the kitchen, too. We offer Saturday "hands-on" cooking classes and Wednesday and Thursday "Dinners in the Kitchen" once a month each.
TWO's cooking classes are one of the best ways to spend a Saturday morning in San Francisco. Grab a group—or make it a romantic morning with your special someone—and have a sip of Champagne at the bar before hitting the kitchen to learn how to make a stellar meal that will wow and impress your friends and family. Classes are taught by TWO Chef Bridget Batson and Owner David Gingrass.
The TWO cooking classes are hands-on (meaning you get to mix, sear and sautee to your heart's content), educational and just plain frolicking fun. After cooking up a storm, you and the rest of your co-chefs will sit down to enjoy the lunch you cooked, as TWO's Beverage Director gives you the know-how to talk shop like a pro. Sit back, relax and enjoy. Naps at home afterwards are optional.
Each fun-filled cooking class begins at 10:30 in the morning, with mimosas, bubbly and freshly brewed Graffeo's coffee in the bar, and concludes with a fabulous luncheon featuring the menu of the day. The cost per person includes the class, a seated lunch with wine pairings, sales tax and gratuity.
Spaces for our perennially sold-out classes are won in a lottery. We’ll do the drawing approximately TWO months before the class and contact the winners by phone.
We invite you to arrive at 10:30 a.m. to wake up, enjoy a mimosa, and get to know your classmates! Classes usually end by 2:00 p.m. Convenient parking is available at the Moscone Parking Garage, adjacent to TWO on Third Street just south of Howard Street.

On the second Wednesday and Thursday of each month, we open our kitchen to our most food-addicted friends and family for “Dinner in the Kitchen’, an evening of eating, drinking and being merry. Sitting at the employee table in the kitchen, as six lucky couples meet to break bread and preview new dishes that we’ve come up with over the past few weeks. It’s always fun, tasty and even spicy
There’s just one menu for each evening. It’s not vegan or even vegetarian and it’s not for picky eaters - no substitutions! But if you’re a serious foodie who is interested in the creative process, we’d love to have you participate. At the end of the meal, we’ll want to hear your thoughts: what you liked, what you didn’t.
The tariff isn’t steep, just $20.07 per person to honor the year that we opened (plus beverage, tax and tip). Please fill in an entry form during your next visit if you’d like to register for a chance to join in the fun. We draw names for twenty-four lucky diners roughly four weeks before the dinners, and we will contact you at that time if we draw your name. We hope to see you in the kitchen!
